This event is planned for Q3 2023.
Cynergy-ISAC is organizing a technical course in cybersecurity specifically tailored to the energy sector. Participants will enhance and fortify their understanding of industrial control systems’ cybersecurity.
Concurrently, the course will delve into the operational constraints of these systems, various management modes, and potential cybersecurity measures, addressing the following topics:
a) Security of Industrial Control Systems (ICS) Devices: This includes programmable logic controllers (PLC), remote terminal units (RTU), human-machine interfaces (HMI), and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA).
b) The Purdue Model: Understanding its relevance and utility in enhancing the security of industrial control systems.
c) Governance in ICS Security: Key aspects and best practices related to governance within the framework of industrial control systems security.
d) Proactive Threat Intelligence Analyses: Emphasizing the need and benefits of implementing threat intelligence analyses using tools and frameworks such as the YARA framework, MITRE ATT&CK, dissemination protocols for security threats (STIX, TAXII, OpenIoC), and MISP.
e) Incident Response in ICS Environments: Strategies and protocols for effectively responding to security incidents within industrial control systems environments.
